Gadi Adelman

Born in the United States, Gadi Adelman moved to Israel with his family while still at an early age. One month after his 14th birthday, after attending a rally in Jerusalem on November 13, 1975 a terrorist bomb was detonated on Jaffa Road, Jerusalem's main shopping street. Seven people were killed and 45 were injured. Those killed ranged in age from only 14 to 17. Gadi and a friend were only a few yards away and survived the blast.  Al Fatah's and the Martyr George Haddad Unit of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) fought over credit for the murders.

Although he walked away without a scratch, the terror incident near cafe Naveh that evening caused emotional scars that would last for many years to come. Gadi started to study everything he could find in both English and Hebrew on terrorism and its causes.  In 1981 when Gadi returned to the United States he applied at various law enforcement agencies with the hopes of specializing in counter terrorism. During an interview with a government agency, the interviewer laughed at the ‘long term objective’ on his resume saying “This is America, we don’t have terrorism”!  Gadi told him to “wait ten years and remember the word Jihad”. Being called an “alarmist” or “nuts” didn’t deter him from continuing to study and talk to those that were willing and wanted to listen.

After 9/11, many of those who had called him crazy wanted his advice. Now, after 41 years of self study, Gadi has taught and lectured at various High Schools, Colleges and for law enforcement agencies. Today, he continues to lecture and speak publicly on Terrorism, Jihad, Sharia and Islam. He has been quoted by Michelle Malkin and Dr. Walid Phares, the Advisor to the Anti-Terrorism Caucus in the US House of Representatives, called his work "Leading in the movement in the study of counter-terrorism".

He writes weekly articles and was a weekly contributor for The Jerusalem Post and is a contributing editor for the Family Security Matters website as well as writing for Frontpage Magazine, Radical Islam, Faith for Freedom, Gold Coast Chronicle and Pronline news. His articles have appeared in dozens of publications and have been translated into several languages from Spanish to Vietnamese.

Gadi had his own weekly radio show "America Akbar" for over 7 years that was heard on two stations, Radio Jihad network on Blogtalkradio as well as on American Patriot Radio. Gadi then joined, the Fox News affiliate, Israel News Talk Radio (INTR) team as a show host with a new weekly show, “The Danger Zone”.

Gadi was with INTR for over 2 years and was asked in April 2018 to be an analyst on terrorism and Israel on i24 News network and can be regularly seen on i24 on various shows.

He can often be heard as a guest on various radio talk shows as well.
